Inspired by the 'undone corset belt' by Dehanche. This belt is handcrafted from 2mm thick, genuine full grain leather, features clean, burnished edges and buckles with two buckles at the back for a unique, symmetrical look.
The model has a 26" waist and 35" bust. This listing is for the exact piece in the photos - it was used as a display model only and has not been worn outside of photo shoots. I will custom make a brand new strap to your measurements - but the body of the belt is sold as is for this listing (22" length, 25" with buckles, 9.25" tall at the center) and the hardware is already attached and is gold tone.
Please note the variation in the leather - some of this is natural leather variation, but there are also a few scuffs and marks from storage. I will be using a leather renewing balm on this prior to shipping which will lessen the look of these imperfecions - I wanted the photos to show them clearly however, so the belt was not waxed or treated for these photos. This is an early prototype, so the back and edges are 'raw' - which means they have not been burnished, which I now do on all of my pieces. This means that the back of the belt has a very slight fuzzy, suede like texture.
Please also note the strap at the back of the corset connecting the two pieces - I will be making a brand new strap using this same laather, to your measurements, but the leather strap will wear similarly over time, with lightening of the leather where it bends into the buckles, etc.
Sizing:
This is a sample sale piece so it's sold as is - model and mannequin have 26" waist and 34" bust. The body of the belt cannot be adjusted, however, a new strap for the connection in the back will be produced and can be made to your measurements, however, due to the size of the belt, this will best suit a size small (26-29" waist). Please leave your waist measurement in the space provided at checkout.
Please allow 1-2 days for production, as the strap will need to be produced. I will ship immediately after production via USPS First Class mail.
