This designer inspired bag is made using luxury vegan leather - it's roomy enough for the essentials, small enough to transition seamlessly from day to night - it features a gratuitously studded base and unique, thick adjustable shoulder strap. 
 
Constructed using Desserto® Cactus Leather, a beautiful natural leather alternative that has a smooth, subtley pebbled surface and is made using 90% natural materials! Today, vegan leather is primarily PU leather (made from harmful petrochemicals with a short lifespan for use, yet will remain in landfills indefinitely). Even 'natural' leather alternatives are often still largely composed of PU leather - apple leather, as an example, is 50% PU leather. With a focus on sustainability and reducing plastics in fashion, it took months to find this 90% natural alternative - but it was well worth the effort!
 
This mid-size bag is the perfect size, at 7.5" in length, 6.5" high, and 3" deep. The thick 1.5" strap is highly adjustable, to allow you to wear this piece as a shoulder bag worn high or low, as well as a cross-body bag - you can also wear this strap longer on one side for a unique asymmetrical style.
 
To make this piece, two layers of 1.2mm thick cactus leather is adhered together with a strong, water based leather adhesive - so the leather like surface is on both the outside and inside of the bag and the 'leather' is thick and durable. The body of the bag is hand stitched using ultra strong waxed thread, and the straps are also dual layered and machine sewn to further prevent separation of the layers with use. All edges are sealed with black edge cote. Metal zipper closure (the zipper metal will match the hardware color you request at checkout).
