What is Couture?
Couture is a bit of an ephemeral term for most people; we have a sense or idea of what the term means, but sometimes that can be actually quite removed from the actual definition. Couture simply means 'made to measure' or custom sized to a specific customer's measurements and preferences. What does that mean for you? It means a custom, perfect fit - simply provide the measurements needed for your item at checkout: I take care of the rest. You can also place your order and send me your measurements at your convenience - I will even send you complimentary tailor's tape with measurement guide; just write in 'tailor's tape' in the space provided at checkout instead of your measurements.

Since your custom piece is made specifically for you, it also means that you have options. Prefer gold hardware but the piece is shown with silver? Each product listing includes additional customizations available. Don't see an option that you'd like in the listing? Reach out to me! As long as I can find the materials needed, consider it done. I want your piece to be perfect for YOU - which is why I make them according to your preferences.

Visit the add-on accessories page if you'd like to purchase tailor's tape for your measurements - you can absolutely get by with a bit of string and a ruler, but having tailor's tape is a lot easier! You can find tailor's tape on Amazon very cheap - I offer tape so that if you do make a purchase, the tape will be free of charge (tape will be shipped along with a discount code that will remove the cost of the tape from your next order).

The tape also comes with detailed instructions for taking any of the measurements required for my pieces.

You can purchase the tape ahead of time, or simply make your purchase and send me a note, or leave your request for tailor's tape instead of your measurements in the space provided when you add an item to your cart - I'll hold production on your piece and send you the tape free of charge.
